Frequently asked questions

You can learn more on our blog

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring your insurance card, a valid ID, a list of medications you’re currently taking (including over-the-counter and supplements), and any relevant medical records or recent test results. If it's your first visit, you may also need to fill out new patient forms, so be sure to arrive a bit early.

How can I prepare for a physical exam or annual check-up?

Wear comfortable clothing and be ready to discuss your medical history, current health concerns, and any changes since your last visit. It’s also helpful to jot down any questions or symptoms you want to address with your doctor.

What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Contact the office as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. Most practices have a policy for advance notice, usually 24 to 48 hours, to avoid a cancellation fee and to allow other patients to book that slot. You can also request for your visit to be done by Telemedicine

How can I get my test results?

Test results are typically communicated by phone, or during a follow-up appointment. If you haven’t received results within the expected time frame, contact the office to inquire.

What if I have an urgent health issue outside of office hours?

For urgent issues outside of office hours, call the office to find out if we have after-hours services scheduled during the week or reach out to urgent care or emergency services as needed.

What is a Telemedicine Visit?

A telemedicine visit is a healthcare appointment conducted remotely using digital technology. Instead of visiting a healthcare provider in person, you interact with them via video call, phone call, or secure messaging. You schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider, just as you would for an in-person visit. On the day of your appointment, you connect through a video conferencing platform, phone call, or messaging system as instructed by your provider. Telemedicine offers convenience by eliminating travel time and allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your home. It also helps in managing healthcare needs efficiently, particularly for those with mobility issues or living in remote areas.
